North Wales Jobs Live keeps this simple: we only use storage that the site needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no cross-site tracking, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Essential storage we use
- Sign-in session — stored in your browser so employers stay signed in to the dashboard between visits. Cleared when you sign out.
- Payment session — set by our payment provider during checkout to process your subscription securely and prevent fraud.
- Search preferences — your last job search filters, kept in the page URL and browser storage so results survive a refresh.
How we count advert views
We record how many times each advert is viewed and how many times the apply button is clicked, so employers can see whether their advert is working. This uses a short-lived, one-way session hash rather than a persistent identifier, and it is not linked to your name, email or device profile.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them will sign you out of the employer dashboard and reset your saved search filters; browsing and applying for jobs will continue to work normally.
